Dress Code
scrubs and white lab coats are standard (note: scrubs are not provided for students)
ID badges should be clearly visible to patients and staff at all times
Jeans and open toe shoes are not permitted.
Seek help immediately if you feel there is an emergency or unstable patient. Do not hesitate to interrupt your supervising physician if you need help. The staff is there to help you learn
Procedures: If you perform a procedure remember to dispose of all sharps in the appropriate containers.
Do write orders only if they are reviewed by your supervising physician before given to staff. Do not write unsupervised orders for procedures or medications.
