Given Advocate Christ Medical Center is one of the busiest Level 1 trauma centers in Illinois we attempt to give our rotating students some experience managing trauma patients. At this time one shift during your emergency medicine month is dedicated to working with the trauma team. Your trauma experience varies based on the experience of the student and the level of comfort from the trauma team.
